We called it in this week’s Picks of the Week. Larry from Larry’s Comics confirmed it. And now Bleeding Cool is catching on, that Edge of Spider-Verse #2 is a hit.
The comic is sold out at Diamond, and as Larry mentioned, fans are seeking Bleeding Cool is catching on, but Edge of Spider-Verse #2 out. In case you missed it, this is the first appearance of Gwen Stacey, Spider-Woman.
Bleeding Cool did mention that there is a brief “cos-player” cameo of the suit in Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0.
Copies of the regular cover are sold out on many online retailers. Copies of Edge of Spider-Verse #2 are being snatched up on eBay. With a high percentage of the copies going up are selling. The Edge of Spider-Verse #2 Greg Land Variant
is going for up to $35.
This is definitely a buy and hold book. If the character continues to be popular, and is used again, this could be a key book.

This comic might have potential to be the next What If #7(Betty Brant as Spider-girl) or 105 (Peter Parker’s daughter)?
There are plenty of examples of females who wore the spider-suit. The what if issue is a prime example. It’s just what Marvel plans to do with the character. But, other examples aside, this book is sold out and increasingly hard to find. Shops are selling out, places are sold out online.
Picked up two copies of the regular cover at one of my LCS’s. They had about 20 copies left.
