  1. Will post my pick ups tomorrow morning.
I have been getting the Funko Reaction action figures. 12 total on my shelf at work now. All horror figures which freaks out my staff a little.
I have been out of toys for a long while and sold off most of my action figures, but between these and blind pack vinyl mini figures, I pick one toy up a week for my shelves.

    1. I picked up the original blue carded Alien Reaction figures when they came out. The $100 Alien Reaction playset was a bit overpriced for something I thought should have been no more than $40. The last toys I bought before that was a Masterpiece Soundwave and an Iron Giant figure.

    2. Ok, My pick ups I said I would cut back but man….
      Wicked and Divine #5

      Haunted Horror #13
      Letter 44 #11
      Southern Dogs #2

Colder: The Bad Seed #1 (glad to see this back)

      Goners #1 Phantom
      Revival #24
      Memetic #1
Creeps #1 (A Warren Style horror Mag. I think these could get some heat as they are very similar to creepy from warren)
      Copra 9,10,11 (Just because)

  2. Anyone speculating on Static # 1 ? New live action series was announced officially….not as easy to find as you may think….

  3. I collect comic book writer’s and artist’s first works. Hellboy’s Mike Mignola in Comic Book Reader. Saga’s Brian K Vaughn in Tales of Apocalypse. Rat Queen’s Kurt Wiebe in Beautiful Creatures. Prophet’s Brandon Graham in October Yen. Orc Stain’s James Stokoe in Rival Schools. I get a lot of books signed at conventions.

    1. I do a lot of signings as well. Keep ine from every signing i do. Did an impromptu J Scott Campbell signing at NYCC. Had the Midtown Sabrina JSC varianta signed and they sild like crazy. I have seen the Comic Book Readers with Mignola covers and the first one that featured a barbarian chick on the letters page or in the midst of an article. They are hard to come by and his style is still so raw in them. It was hard to tell it was him. They are cool and rare.

  4. Whats up everyone it’s Mel here with your morning report… rainy day here in Gotham so the lines going into the store were light.. and so were the copies of wool #4 maybe like 8 on the shelf.. surprise that there were copies of enormous second print still on the shelf.Saw one guy who might be a reader here lol pick up like 5 Meme .town called dragon #2 were also scarce
.I love the art on this book and the cover is sexy. Speaking of covers.. I had no idea there was a 3rd sneaky cover for Edward scissor hands could be something to look into.. 13 coins also had a sweet incentive cover.. deadpool and ghostrider cover looked cool also but for 25 asking price I choose to pass. Well till next week happy speculating

  5. My week’s pulls/pickups:
Edward Scissorhands #1 (Cult classic, if you are in your late twenties or thirties, I know your picking this one up)
Five Ghosts #13 (Fun fun read. Pick it up if you haven’t already)
Revival #24 (Still hanging on to this drama, it still grabs my interest each issue)
Sheltered #12 (Underrated if you ask me, too bad it’s ending soon, I would have loved more character development and build up with more issues)
Starlight #6 (The only Millar I’m reading and it’s ending, of course he jacked the price up a few bucks to end it)
    Walking Dead #133 (Duh!)
ASM #8 (Edge of Spider-Verse tie in)
Avengers #37 (I’m an Avengers junkie)
Wool #4 (Scarce at the local shop today, only about 4 copies and none at my usual shop. Good read, last issue left build up continues in this issue)
Town Called Dragon #2 (Good stuff, I really enjoyed the first issue, a modern day Dragon story)

          1. I think after this one I’m gonna avoid any new stuff from Millar. I’ll just wait until I can get them all for cheap or get the TPB for cheap off TFAW when they have a nick and dent sale.

  6. Going to the Peral Jam concert tonight, so I won’t be getting my pulls until tomorrow…but I got Five ghosts #13, Walking dead, and the Flash Ottley monster variant becuase it looks so cool. oh, and a couple ghost rider/deadpool variants in the mail.
I was pretty hard into collecting star wars a few years back. I started with the hasbro, but then their release schedules became jacked up and I couldn’t find anything new on the shelves. Going to Walmart in the middle of the night when they were unpacking their fresh toys was not my idea of fun either.
Then I jumped into the big leagues and started collecting Gentle Giant mini busts, Sideshow sixth scale, and bought a couple Sideshow mythos statues (Kenobi and Fett mythos are my prized possesions). I still have them all, they are super cool, but got so expensive. and of course their release schedules were always being pushed back. ended up diverting all my collectible funds into comics instead. I have a couple more sideshow sixth scales on payment plans, but that may be the end of it unless something super cool comes out. wish we could post pics here!

  7. (Edward Scissorhands #1) x1 Retailer incentive variant, 10 or 12 regular covers left. It’s a very sweet story and I’m glad to see someone doing something with such a great character.
    (Wool #4) x2 , There were maybe 4 left.
(13 Coins #1) x2 Phantom variant, large stack of these available at my local. Bought this to see what Simon Bisley is doing now and was satisfied. Good action, seemless exposition, basically read like, as many comics do now, an action movie. Left me leaning toward picking up the next issue but not lown away.
(Southern Dogs #2) x2, Sold out at my shop and a compelling read so far.
(Letter 44 #11), The great story and satisfying pace hasn’t disappointed me yet.
(Zero #11), The title which just continues to strike a chord with me in terms of style and presentation – it’s unlike anything out there.
Always waiting on a Waterworld ongoing… until then Zero and Rat Queens are hands down my favorite books.

  8. LCS trip – Five Ghosts 13, Walking Dead 133, 3x EoSV 2 (i thought these had all dried up?), Catwoman 35

  9. Arkaham Manor (which I can’t even talk about the premise without laughing.)
    Butterfly
    Five Ghosts
    Goners
Letter 44 (one of my faves, right there with:
    Lazarus
Multiversity (though you wouldn’t know it by the cover)
    Southern Dog
    ASM
and Wool (heads up 5 of 6 and the trade ship next week)
This week will be a good week to catch up on some reading.
I grew tired or Wicked + Divine with issue 3, and I was never a big fan of Mr. Scissorhands in the first place.
And no other real collecting. Used to collect books, records, and assorted nicknacks, but one good hurricane put an end to those days.

  10. Afternoon early evening report 13 coin gone in almost all mom and pop stores the bigger chains had a few left

  11. For those that picked up Memetic, how was it? Sat on the fence for this one and decide not to pick it up and grabbed another copy of TWD 132 instead.

  12. Today I picked up:
    ASM 8
wool 4 x2 ( still about 6 copies left LCS)
Harley Quinn 11( for the wife)
arkham manor ( just to see what it will be all about)
    Memetic #1
Edward scissorhands #1( one of my wife’s favorite movie)
Couldn’t get any 13 coins #1 no one had them and the LCS that did ordered them got damaged ones so that sucked.
My local comic book store is selling EoSV 2 for $8 should I get some copies?
