There is speculation and rumor that Kanan The Last Padawan, from Star Wars Rebels, will be in the upcoming Star Wars The Force Awakens film.

From the earliest and more reliable reports, Max von Sydow is playing a character that is quite crucial to getting the story in motion. Most reports have him playing an old man who has many cybernetic elements keeping him going. He may be a looney but when Luke’s lightsaber shows up at the junk shop where he and Daisy Ridley’s character spends most of their time, he comes to life – recognising the importance of this object.
An interesting interview with Star Wars actor John Morton makes a good case that the Star Wars Rebels show will provide a lead in to Star Wars Episode 7 the same way that those numerous books that were recently announced would fill in the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. We are fairly certain that the Inquisitors will be playing a big part in Episode 7 – so wouldn’t it make sense that some other pieces of Rebels will also make it into the movie?
This leads us to the most obvious choice of who Max von Sydow could be playing if we take into consideration Rebels as well as the Star Wars comic book line that is currently going full steam ahead. Could Max von Sydow be playing Kanan Jarrus, the Last Padawan?

$100 is a bit high. There are a lot of these in circulation so they’re not rare.

I picked up 10 copies of the 1:25 variant a while back. Been sitting on them, may be time to list a few of them.. The cheap ones are drying up on eBay…

Does any one know if this is a good series to read? Missed out on it, not that many copies at my LCS when it was released.
I liked the first issue. It was a fun read. Went and bought the variants pretty cheap yesterday… Not to flip but for my own collection. The risk with prices right now is pretty low for all versions of issue #1. If it turns out Kanan will be in the movie the upside will be pretty huge to say the least. I may even pick up one or two 1:10 variants just in case. Regardless, now would be a good time to get these. IF he does show up in episode 7 you will be glad you did..If not, they may still have future value because of his gaining popularity.
IF this turns out to be true which variant do you think will be in most demand? The 1:10 has Kanan as he appears on Rebels. Even though there are more of those I am wondering if it will be the more popular “go to” issue?

is the movie like 30 years after the death of Vader? With Vader on the Rebels show it seems like the timing here is off.
