Nerdist.com had the story, and then Bleeding Cool ran with it, but speculation of season 2 of Daredevil, being called Daredevil vs. Punisher, source material may come straight from a comic.
That source material is Daredevil Punisher Means and Ends. Copies have started flying off of eBay (one copy of #1 is up for $2), and the usual back issue spots (Mycomicshop) are sold out. There are copies up on Amazon starting at $1.99 a copy plus shipping.
