Straightjacket #2 Update

I am telling you now, if you are a fan of the series, you will want to get your order in early for a couple reasons. First, I have read the issue already, preview pdf copies rock, and it cranks up the crazy that started in the first issue and takes it to a new level. Also, there is a crazy low print run on the book already. Sadly, most comic shops order low on new indie books and some do not even bother to go to the back of the previews catalog. But there is another reason you will want to secure your copy.

I was talking to El Torres about Straightjacket on Wednesday, as well as some other projects he has coming up from Amigo. Now, Amigo is located in Spain and ships their books internationally to Diamond. It is a long trip, things can happen. When Diamond received the boxes of Straightjacket #2 something happened. They opened a couple of the boxes and instead of finding minty copies of the great horror book, they found used novels and other junk books. Not all of the comics made it from the printer to the warehouse at Diamond. The print run which was projected at only 800 copies are now down to about 500.

Copies of Straightjacket #2 are already listed at above cover price.

  1. Who wants to know the real reason they went missing? There are rumors flying left and right, and Diamond is already getting involved and some folks may be getting in some trouble.

  2. Who wants to know the real reason the books went missing? All so a few people could sell at an elevated price. There are a few people out there that are talking and loose lips sink ships.

  3. Well I sure hope I get my copy cuz I ordered my book back when it was in previews. This will suck big time if I don’t.

    1. Want to know the real reason they went missing and why many aren’t going to get their pre-ordered copies? People are talking. Loose lips and all that jazz.
