Andrew Lincoln Calling It Quits After Season 9 of Walking Dead

Thanks to Uncle Willie for making a comment to bring this to our attention and I believe Collider was one of the first to report this news, but Andrew Lincoln is apparently departing The Walking Dead after next season, which is the 9th season of the hit AMC series based on Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore’s comic series from Image Comics.

Poyo's Picks for November 1st, 2017

Halloween has arrived and so has new comic Wednesday. For me, this is really another uneventful week for new books. There might be a few surprise spec’s or winners but for the most part, even if there are, I don’t expect them to last long.
This week is so boring, I don’t really see a reason to even rush out to my shop when it opens like I usually do to score some cover price variants.

New details have come to light that show the Whisperers could be coming to The Walking Dead this month and Alpha (could Beta be far behind) are coming to The Walking Dead TV show in February. Ezekiel and His Tiger Coming to Season 7 Confirmation

THis is going to sound a bit repetitive since we just talked about it on April 5th, but now we have confirmation Ezekiel and his tiger, Shiva, will be coming to The Walking Dead in Season 7. You thought Negan was going to be a game changer, but wait until non-comic readers see Ezekiel and Shiva on-screen. Continue reading “Ezekiel and His Tiger Coming to Season 7 Confirmation”

The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108

Negan. Sure, there will be a lot of talk about that, and we will get to it in a minute, but Ezekiel and the Kingdom is what we are going to focus on first. Sunday night’s The Walking Dead Season Finale had a lot of good imagery that fans should be excited about. For me, the one that made me very happy was the scene with the two guys in body armor, previously shown here running into Morgan. Continue reading “The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead 100 and 108”

The Walking Dead Effect: Will the Kingdom be introduced on the show?

I wasn’t the only person who noticed the person with the combat gear on last night’s The Walking Dead. Comicbook.com noticed it too. And we drew the same conclusions  Continue reading “The Walking Dead Effect: Will the Kingdom be introduced on the show?”

The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead #98

Tonight’s episode, “Twice As Far” was a doozie. This is mostly spoiler free minus the next sentence. It reintroduced Dwight, more in lines with the comic, and has a burned face. Continue reading “The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead #98”

The Walking Dead Season 6 – Show vs Comic Speculate List

Thanks to Agent Poyo for the write up.
We all know the show is helping the Walking Dead comics heat up as places and people show up. Now that we know Negan is coming to the show along with Jesus making his appearance in last weeks episode, we know the Hilltop is coming and probably a whole slew of new characters and likely storylines directly from the comics.

Origin of Negan in New Image+ Magazine

Image is starting a new magazine, similar to Marvel Previews, that will each contain a 4 page story from high profile collectors. The first 12 issues will feature a The Walking Dead story, an exclusive story. One of which will feature the origin on Negan. The book should only run you $1.99, cheap by today’s standard, but expensive when you think of cost per comic page. But what you get sounds awesome.
