And more to come I am sure. Some of these I will never see the reason to reboot, Silk and Spider-Gwen for example, or the recently rebooted Hawkeye….

  1. I want a lot of these. I may ask my lcs if they can order one of each for me. I have a weird obsession with #1s. And I don’t mean potty time.

  2. Some of these titles don’t sound to bad. But I do agree that some of them are new and should not need a reboot

    1. Why Spider-Gwen needs a number one is beyond me. Well, it isn’t really. They can get more money off their #1 than a #6 in October. Still, it’s not like we forgot about Gwen’s series which was only interrupted like 2 months ago.

  3. seriously. why don’t they just reboot each title every month? then all their comics will be #1s!!!!

    1. I think they should just switch to the Alphabet.. A, B, C, D… and after Z it goes.. AA, AB, AC.. That would give us 676 issues until we got to ZZ.. unless they want to go with AAA, AAB… etc ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. So I’m confused. ASM which started up again after Superior Spider-Man, is AGAIN starting at #1? I don’t get it. There haven’t been that many issues and they are starting again at number one. What’s the point of collecting a series like that if they are just going to reboot every 20 issues or so?

    1. i find it great that people are stating to finally pick up on marvels reboot crap, i looked back the last few years and most issues make it to 25 issues….JUST 25, and then they release a new series with that charater, under a new title, and start it from number 1 again, causing hype and sell outs, that lasts for 25 issues and then we have some new, ultimate, superior, mega, hyper, all new brand new, evil/not evil series that comes out

      1. I buy Marvel just to read them, when you stop caring about the # order or volume # and just focus on reading (if the story is actually good).. then it doesn’t really matter.

Every now and then there’s an issue that you can flip as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

Surprisingly, I’m a reader first, collector second and flipper third.

  5. Weird, amazing spiderman is listed, but the Miles Morales “spider-man” title is not , also confused as to why an amazing spiderman title has been mentioned when its been (slightly) confirmed that parker wouldnt be holding the crown anymore and might actually be moving to another city entirely, while miles takes over new york

spider-gwen and silk were BOTH just on issue 1, literally 5 issues ago – marvel is a mess

this has a very ( new 52 ) vibe to it, dump a bunch of titles, see which ones stick besides the obvious ones, and keep those going, i guarantee, by issue 12 of most of these titles, they will be dropped, and replaced by new number 1’s

what hurts the most is that issue 1’s no longer mean a thing for marvel, because of how frequent new number 1’s are dropped by them, at least some legacy numbering would be nice,

also, i hope people can finalllllly stop complaining online about the X men being dead, or there not being an x men title, its insane how attatched people can get to cartoons, you would have thought people on instagram and comic forums had actually lost family members….who were you know… real

    1. Great point about Miles Morales spiderman. This is a book that was just recently confirmed. Maybe that is why it didn’t appear on the list. Amazing Spiderman does not have to be Peter Parker as they have been saying.

    2. Also I doubt they’ll reboot Uncanny Avengers which is also on issue #5 currently.. What they’ll likely do is do a big logo of #1, change a little formatting on the covers and the more recent ones still continue with their ongoing numbers. When Hickman was writing Avengers, they did that for like issue #18 or so but it still continued next month at #19… etc.

    1. Yes you can.. comics are more important than eating and the kids college funds.. no need for vacations.. you get one every Wednesday on new comic book day! ๐Ÿ˜‰
