Surface Tension from Titan optioned for TV.

Jay Gunn’s book, Surface Tension, has been optioned for TV according to Will O’Mullane Titan Comics Press Officer. Surface Tension is the story about a small UK town besieged by strange aquatic creatures.
From the Press Release:

We’re so happy to announce that Jay Gunn’s Surface Tension series (published March 2016) has been optioned for TV!
Surface Tension, a delirious mix of Hayao Miyasaki and The Walking Dead, is rich in unforgettable characters, vivid images and heartfelt emotion. I have included the official synopsis for the comic book below:
Months ago, 99% of humanity walked into the sea and dissolved. When two people are washed up on the beach of the tiny island of Breith – their biology completely rewritten – the survivors of Breith are thrown into chaos. Are they our last hope – or our executioners?

Copies of Surface Tension are available at Mycomicshop. The Subscription Cover for #1 is available at TFAW for below cover. Copies of Surface Tension are available on eBay, a few sets and some trade paper backs make up the 14 current listings. The one to get, and you can find it cheap still, is the Black and White Incentive.

    1. I do. But also would be happy to forward you the email from Titan with the press release. Never said I do not sell and usually I sell after the story goes up.

      1. I’m just giving you a hard time. I would totally do the same given the platform. It’s not like you haven’t also given the cheapest options currently.

        1. Cody. It’s all good and I deserve to be called out on it. Lol. I rarely sell things off the bat but was like I know I have this bits a legit piece straight from Titans Pr.

  1. Found one not on ebay coverA $3 + $4 shipping ? Hate when my shipping is more then my total. In other news casting call for X-23 went out today if your daughter is 11-14 you have a shot of getting her the X-23 role.

  2. The bigger news with optioned books is Scarlet by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev.
The basic and 1:50 have disappeared online.

    1. I’m not seeing them at Msrp… Can you send a link? Cheapest I see is 15$ with free shipping with Amazon prime.

    2. Those books on Amazon are exactly that, books. The comic vanished well before news spread. 😉 Trades and HC’s aren’t the way to go, imo. At least not for speculating.

      1. I never heard of it and was excited thinking that Gunn wrote a comic. Sure it would’ve been amazing!
