Can’t miss the opportunity to wish everyone a happy Friday the 13th. Usually my favorite day of the year due to my love for the Horror Movie Series. Here is a look at some of Jason’s comic book series.
Jason Voorhees, oddly enough, could be looked as a roll model. He was born deformed, was killed, sent to hell, frozen and sent into space, and none of that could stop him from doing the one thing he loves best. Granted, I don’t advocate his hobby, but many of us Wednesday warriors have to overcome a lot to get out and get the comics we love for the hobby we support; work, wives and girlfriends.

So is Jason goes to Hell his first appearance? My favorite on the list are Pamela’s Tale and vs. Leatherface. I was thinking about sending my vs. Leatherface set off to be graded, I was looking at them the other day and I would swear they could come back higher than 9.8, but I know that hardly ever happens.

First off, I am not superstitious and I didn’t even realize today was Friday the 13th until I saw this, just now, on CHU. But it all makes sense. I’ve been operating my lil rvay store for about 8 months now. I have had a few bumps in the road, but for the most part have had no damaged packages or returns. Today I got my first return, and my first damaged package. Aargh. The damaged book was clearly marked all over with ‘do not bend’ and ‘fragile’. The delivery guy folded it up and stuffed it inside a little community mail box. The package had 5 Image Deathmate books in it, with cardboard protecting it. The guy would have had a hell of a time folding that thick package. jesus Murphy. Fml. Happy 13th. Lol.
Anyone have any experience with Rob Liefield signings? I have a buddy going to ECCC and Rob Liefield will be signing. I want to get my nm87 and 98 signed and cgc graded. I just want to be prepared if it’s 50$ per sig or something crazy.
Are there any stories about Jason before he turned into the evil killer we all know and….fear? I mean were are the stories when he was a kid where he raced is soap box cars, was sick and filled with weird bacteria, built battery powered toy robots and was sold into slavery to a grumpy Armenian? I want to read those stories!!!
