The Diamond Comics Advance Reorder List is a great speculator tool. It shows what books retailers are going back to get more of, in advance of their release. They are actually putting their money up betting these books get big. These are the books people are talking about in shops, message boards, and websites. Here is the Diamond Comics Advance for 5/1/17:
Well, the Image 25th Anniversary Box has finally fallen off the list. Spawn month is bringing money in for Image. Batman #23 is up there, not surprising, as is Secret Empire #2. Kid of a bland list this week with no real #1 issues besides Luke Cage, and that is just for the Hip Hop variant.

      1. How much of a premium are you willing to pay? They’re out of my price range. I was really excited at $125 but unless you get lucky you’re paying a whole lot more than that.

        1. I am not willing to pay a premium. They were originally solicited as $125 in their press release. Then it went to $200 and the $250. Nah. I am good without one.

          1. It’s all been talked about but the way they went out soliciting those was really strange. It’s almost like they meant for the information to only be available to comic shops but publicly put it out there. Especially when they say that shops are welcome to open them and piece them out if they wanted. I don’t think they ever expected actual customers to get their hands on one for $125.
