By the Numbers: April 2017 Estimated Sales Figures

Popularity and print runs are the two big things that drive up prices on comics. That is why it is important to watch the estimated sales of comics.
Marvel carried 5 of the top 10 slots, DC had 4, and Image only had 1, Walking Dead 166.

Clean Room 18 DC 4,608 – Last issue of an optioned DC/Vertigo book with less than 5,000 copies
Theres Nothing There 1 Black Mask 5,417 – I tried to like this book but didn’t. However, still a tiny print run on it.
World Reader 1 Aftershock 5,509 – there was a 1:10 Elizabeth Torque Variant on this one Mel spotlighted that would be about 550 copies.
Namwolf 1 Albatross 5,717 – A little over 2,500 copies per cover.
Z Nation 1 Dynamite 6,662 – there were 8 covers for this one, including the 1:20 virgin variant Mel Spotlighted, which breaks down to about 300 copies variants.
Godshaper 1 Boom 8,263 – 3 covers on this one. The David Aja cover was hot out of the gate.
