Secret Empire #3 Spoilers: A Death and Two Hydra Reveals

Secret Empire #3 is out tomorrow. While a lot of people have been unhappy with the book, I have very much enjoyed it’s twist and turns. We get a death and two Hydra reveals in Secret Empire #3. The spoiler images are obscured, just click on the spoiler warning images to see them, the accompanying text is not spoiler protected so proceed at your own spoilery risk.
First up, the time displaced Cap is still trying to help out the woman who was running from the Serpent Society last issue (I am still unsure if she is anyone, or just cannot remember, so feel free to chime in.)

She gets Steve Rogers to give up what he remembers, which could be a big clue to who he is.

One thing is for sure, He acts like the Steve Rogers we remember…

We will get back to them…
But Meanwhile, Starlord, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon are trying to convince a group of Aliens to help the earth. Rocket seems to be on to something…

Starlord sells his pitch…

and the comedic elements ensue.

We get our first Hydra Agent Reveal….

Back to the time displaced Cap, things are not going so well.

Not well at all…

Someone is getting the shakedown of a very familiar looking silhouette

And the “big Hydra reveal”

  1. I can totally buy Frank Castle being with Hydra.. protect the weak by killing the weak. Definitely his style for sure.

  2. I decided not to invest in yet another “Everything changes” crossover, because nothing ever really changes….. apart from the loss to my wallet.. I hope this is a good read.

    1. I don’t like Event Books but have been happy with the read. Then again I am getting scanned copies so that might add to the enjoyment.

    2. I’ve enjoyed it so far…. I have to give it some credit, at least its not another regurgitated crossover story event.

  3. Just wondering is Captain Marvel in this issue since she’s on the cover or is this like Secret Empire # 2 that had Doctor Strange on the cover but he really wasn’t in the issue. I’m going to pick up this issue either way but I was just Curious.

    1. That’s okay, with the amount of OML and Spidey we’ve been seeing on main covers you’d think they were leading the resistance. Honestly, that’s been my only beef with this story so far. The covers, even for an event book, have really misrepresented the players thus far and how strong a role they play in the story, when the correct characters even appear on the covers at all. Love the story, but man those main covers have been a bait and switch.

  4. Secret Empires been one of the best events Marvels put out in a while, Civil War was ok but I think they got lost in the story part way and CW2 was just bad.
