  1. I am trying to get 3 full sets. I would like a full run of 9.8s but the black borders and color rubs coupled with crappy marvel paper are making that hard.

    1. I really wish I would have had the same approach with this. I started out picking up a couple of each release of an AF variant, but soon dropped down to one. As such, I only picked up one copy of the 40th covers as they have been released.

  2. I have been lucky enough to collect 4 copies of each variant all the way through #23 so I am almost half way there. In addition, variant #30 was suppose to be a 1:25 Mace Windu Dauterman Princess Leia Variant (for a cost of $24.99) and Marvel for some reason changed this to not be that rare (so now it is a cost of $4.95).

    1. I’m glad they changed it. If they start making them 1:25 or 1:50 ratios, I’ll just abandon my quest for a complete set. Marvel will probably make the last one a 1:100.

      1. They better not switch to that format. I’m out if they switch cause I enjoy getting mine for 15% off on Midtown Pre-Orders.

  3. I stopped with the act. fig. covers around #17, but I still get the major character’s. With the ann. covers I started with one set, then I got Poe D. #10 for a good price so I decided to go for another set. At one shop I found parts #1 – #10( minus pt. 7 and 2x pt.1), and whenever I see the ones I’m missing in the wild I grab them. Now when I pre-order them I get 2 of each, I got 3 of Mace W. #1, I’ll be happy as long as I have at least one comp. set.

  4. I lost complete interest in these very early on when some of the initial ones were not available at my local area shops…plus, too much hassle to chase and too much $ to spend…not impressed with some of the covers I’ve seen…but good luck to those pursuing them…hope you can complete your sets.
