Udon Studios Cannon Busters Coming To Netflix

Here is one that most people missed or didn’t take notice of. The Udon Studios comic book from 2004, Cannon Busters, is coming to Netflix in 2018. The streaming is spending $6 Billion Dollars on original content this year. They are expanding their animated and anime releases. And that is where Cannon Busters comes in.

Cannon Busters started out as a comic book from Udon. Cannon Busters #0 SDCC Exclusive was the first appearance of several of the characters. The book started it’s official run with Cannn Busters #1. These are extremely hard to find, both the SDCC and the #1.  Cannon Busters was noted in the Forbes article which talks about how Netflix is trying to corner the Anime market in America. Needless to say, anime fans are rabid and these books could be excellent pickups, especially if the series takes off.

    1. Good. I snagged all I could find a couple of days ago. They just were not out there. The guy I ordered from “reserves the right to cancel orders or raise prices based on Television or movie news or appearing on spec sites”

      1. Sounds like “Scotts Comics”….. Not sure if that’s who you deal with but when they started pulling that garbage I just stopped buying from them all together…that includes fillers and non spec comics for collections. Started buying from them in the early 2k’s, but not no more….about two years now.

  1. If it wasn’t for a PayPal issue, would’ve had 6 copies of this for a total under $20 last night from Midtown…ahh, gutted.

      1. About 24 hours ago, when the news was shared on G+. There were 3 VF+ copies at Midtown for under cover price and 3 VF copies of cover B also under cover price (30 % off) I was unable to complete the sale due to my Paypal no processing the order so I had to leave it. By this morning it was gone.

  2. Found a copy of cover B in a LCS longbox for $4 today. Gonna take some serious hunting and digging to come up with multiple copies.

  3. Found Issue 0, 1A and B today for $8 total. LCS deadstock boxes and amazingly they were the 1st 3 books in the front of the box!
