  1. Yeah, what’s the point of the cat? Is there a cat in the storyline? Kind of pointless but yeah, the rest is pretty good.

    1. Artgerm tends to lend to the Asian face, especially with some of the noses he does. I’m a fan of it. That’s the thing about artwork, some will like it and others will absolutely loathe it.

    1. Well obviously.. it’s like.. here’s $4 and you give me back $15.. I’ll trade a couple bucks to double or triple any day of the week. 🙂

    1. I think it’s the cat, looks too small for most cats, well, seems it’s legs are really short which throws off the rest of the art in my opinion.

  2. He should have had the buildings burning behind her so we get more of that “I don’t give a F*ck look cause I’m doing a random pose for a selfie”

    1. I’m pretty sure he will be doing many more B covers for Supergirl. I’m the same manor that Frison is doing WW, Cho on Harley, Middleton on Aquaman…

    1. He did a bunch of DC covers for the Mighty Crusaders & The Web (the licensed Archie hero line DC did a few years ago), as well as the first few Captain Atom nu52 covers. All non-pose, non-pinup covers.

  3. The cover is utterly gorgeous, and yet, I’ve got a feeling this is going to be pretty controversial and might get pulled. People immediately picked up on one level of symbolism, but check the position of her right hand and how it’s shaped.

  4. For artists, this artwork is more challenging because of the cat and backgrounds. Naughty people might view it as controversial. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    1. I love it. I do like his style though, and have been picking up his covers for years now. I like seeing Artgerm do more cover work on the same series.
