Comic Picks of the Week for Delivery 11/8/17

Each week hundreds of new comics hit the shelves, each with potential. Some live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are our comic picks of the week:
Returning Favorites
Harrow County #27 – Cullen Bunny puts out some of the best horror books on the market. This is his flagship title.
Harley Quinn #31 Frank Cho Variant – Frank Cho is the king of the Killer B’s. Consistently good covers.
Birthright #28 – Joshua Williamson’s epic series. So worth the read.
Redlands #4 – Very good new horror series. Very cool.
Pestilence #5 – Great series from Aftershock. Medieval Walking Dead. Consistently good book.
For the Cover Art Only
Supergirl #15 Artgerm Variant – Top notch cover on this one. Iconic.
Action Comics #991 Ryan Sook Justice League Movie Variant – Justice League will be huge, this sook Movie Variant is incredible. Keep an eye out for them.
New Image #1’s
Coyotes #1 – Very good read. Might not appeal to all but it is very good. Stronger of the two new Image releases.
Port Of Earth #1 – Good start, very interesting story.
The New Marvel One
Moon Knight #188 – I am a huge Moon Knight Fan. I have the issue and will look for spoilers. Going to be hard to beat the last run.
Favorite Cover of the week

Spider-Man Deadpool #23 – I have mentioned my love for great white sharks before. Terrifying creature. Monsters still exist. Needless to say, I love Spiderman swimming away fro the great white…. With Deadpool riding it.

The One With Crossover Potential
Iron Maiden Legacy Of The Beast #1 – Maiden has a ton of fans. They like to pick up memorabilia. Should have a small print run and be desired by fans of the band for a long time.
Small Press Pick of the Week
1985 Black Hole Repo #1 – This has been spotlighted several times on the site. New series from Heavy Metal. Awesome looking series.
The Pick of the Week
Sink #2 – Sink took the comic community by storm. The first issue sold out it’s 6,000 print run. Issue 2 will have a much smaller print run, in fact it will have the smallest print run of the series. This will be the hardest to find.
That is it for us this week, let us know what you are speccing on. And if you missed it here is this week’s New Comic Spec Review Video:

    1. I know right?!?!
They even printed one of my emails! It’s literally the only book I’ve ever written in to.

  1. FYI, I think the Action Comics #991 Justice League variant is by Yanick Paquette, not Ryan Sook. Still, a very nice looking cover
