      1. I was pretty disappointed in it. The writing is deliberately confusing with shifts in perspective and flashbacks within flashbacks. It also demands that readers really suspend disbelief. Like a Mexican teenage girl learns how to kill were-coyotes with a Japanese sword because she grew up watching samurai movies on TV.

        1. I read it tonight finally. I didn’t like the jumps and shifts either. Felt convoluted and yes, hard to follow. The only thing I found interesting was the last page.

    1. Yep. It’s only the first issue but a great concept, art, and writing. Replace Werewolf with Coyote, and Van Helsing with a bad-ass latino female and you get the basic idea.

  1. Got 1.
I am of the opinion those signed midtown copies, that are a constant with them; are fantastic value. $3.99 + $3.99 for a signed comic without the hassle and payment of a con or paying those convention “handlers” (or whatever they’re called) is a great deal for a comic.

    1. Yes and even though it’s just a piece of paper that likely anyone could reproduce on their own, the COA they provide does seem to help resell value when one does end up selling.
