DUE TO BE RELEASED ON 13th JUNE 2018
We are thrilled to announce our first exclusive Store Variant. This is only available from us. Limited to 250 copies online.
The cover is by a new artist chosen by Mark Miller and showcased in Millerworld Annual – Ozgur Yildirim.
We live in a world where we’ve never seen a monster, and The Magic Order is the reason we sleep safely in our beds. Magic meets the mob in THE MAGIC ORDER, as five families of magicians-sworn to protect our world for generations-must battle an enemy who’s picking them off one by one. By day, they live among us as our neighbors, friends, and co-workers, but by night, they are the sorcerers, magicians, and wizards that protect us from the forces of darkness…unless the darkness gets them first. MARK MILLAR’s first NETFLIX comic book, drawn by the incredible OLIVIER COIPEL

  1. Awesome cover! Bought one for the pc. Anyone else think his “arms” may be a bit too long through?

    1. The print run on single shop Image books are between 500-750. So they are selling 250 on eBay and the remainder at shop or at cons.

    2. It irks me to no end too. If your product cant sell without misleading advertising, then you have no faith in your product as it is, and probably shouldnt be in business.

      1. I agree. I have inquired with other places too that say 1000 released online. Multiple occasions I have asked Unknown Comics what total print run is and they never respond.

    1. Didn’t use the basket? I’m confused.. you mean the virtual shopping basket? What’d you do, buy multiple items separately instead of lumping them altogether?

  2. Limited to 250, offering 20 9.8 CGC graded, and from the UK! Had to have one! Now, hope all the shipping doesn’t trash the book…..

    1. Not limited to 250. Limited to 250 online. Tonys right that they usually do 500-750 issues for small press exclusives. It is concerning to me that use the Ltd verbage in order to mislead consumers into thinking its a 250 print run. Smh.

      1. Just marketing gimmicky words at best. Just like seeing those who sell their books on eBay that throw the “rare” in the title when there’s dozens or hundreds of others listing their’s for sale as well. A 1909 Honus Wagner is what I’d consider rare. A comic with less than 10 copies being sold online I’d say is scarce but when there’s plenty of choices to buy from, I try to sway away from using such terms in my own listings, just doesn’t seem right.
But one could claim this is limited in comparison to the regular cover more than likely which I’m sure will be 40-50k or more since it’s a Millar book, at least my local shops seem to load up on Millar books initially.

  3. I’m gonna pass like usual. I’m gonna wait for the trade, that’s if I ever get around to reading it.

      1. I can’t find myself ever paying over cover price for a Mark Millar book. There is no spec play with his books. Everyone already knows his entire intention is to just get media deals, most of his books already have a deal before hitting the shelves.
Millar books hold zero long term value with almost every title he’s put out. With that said, if and when I want to read a Millar book, I’ll just wait when the Trade goes on sale, save me some money and keeps my long boxes from accumulating worthless books. 🙂
