Baltimore Comic Con Day One Wrap Up

I want to start by giving a shout out to all the great people I talked to today. It always is cool when someone comes up to me at a con and says they read the site or watch the videos. It is humbling and a rush. Baltimore was no different and a bunch of people came up to talk to me and I always like talking with people about their con experience and comics in general.

The one thing that was very different about Baltimore Comic Con was how slow it seemed. The crowd was very small on the first day.
Batman Damned #1 is a thing. Con copies were selling for $75 to $100 and trading hands well.
Copies of X-Men Legacy #249, which I have been selling the hell out of all week, were all scooped up out of the cheap bins. Same with X-Men Legacy #252 and X-Men Legacy #253 These have been easy flips for me all week and if you can find them cheap, grab them.
Overall a slow day. Would like to give a shout out to Frankies Comics for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Set, it is sick! Here is my full day one wrap up.

  1. #249 and #252 are cameos #253 is the first full Endgame but I don’t think what Cates said has anything to do with the character but more the phrase like what was just used in the Infinity War movie by Dr. Strange.

  2. #awesomesauce. sorry for any typos tex to speech can suck at times. great video. are the turtels #1s a balitmore onlyexcuslive or can they be bought in nycc?love you guys blind adam out

    1. I stopped by and saw David. Had a great conversation. A Free Comic post is upcoming. I passed out after the O’s game last night so didn’t get to the wrap up.

  3. Thanks for the video.
A hard lol at Azzarello at charging $50 to sign Batman Damned. So if you didn’t find it at a shop you’d pay $100 to buy it & get him to sign it.
I’d rather buy 4 hardcovers pf it.
