Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 12/3/18’s FOC list.
Kind of a small week for FOC. Here are the highlights, as the are.

  1. I know it’s unrelated but does anyone know where I can purchase the self published rags 1. I’m seeing a ton being listed on eBay and Mercari and just want to grab a cheap copy straight from the publisher.

      1. Ive read, and am pretty sure, Rags’ creators opened up issue #1 of the self published edition, to print to order. Meaning; that book is still in print and 1000s of copies are being odered and printed as we speak. (That may be an over exaggerated number, but the book is still print to order now). The AP version is the one to have now, if that book is your thing. But, imo, Rags will be long forgotten, and worth a small fraction of what people have payed for them, in 6 months or so.

    1. This is the only place I can find the Print to Order for Rags: http://www.indyplanet.us/rags-1/
What was once super hot is not very not.. the Antarctic Press published editions are still selling for $90 or so for the first prints and the 2nd prints are selling around $50 range already and they come out this Wednesday.
The self published were selling over $200 at one point but now that the print to order is around, sales are now in the $15 range and I can only assume will continue to drop as collectors catch on.

  2. Trying to place an order from TFAW. One comic is in stock, while another is a pre-order. I’d like to combine them into one shipment (instead of paying $4 twice ). I haven’t been able to find something in their website or checkout that gives you the option to combine in stock items and pre-order items in one shipment.
Am I missing something? Has anyone else been able to do this? Their customer service isn’t getting back to me…

      1. Well, one would ship tomorrow, the other estimates to be the 26th of December….yet still showing up as two separate orders even when I picked 4 weeks…
So annoying. I’m not a. It fan of this setup.

      2. Response from TFAW:
Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately at this time we use two separate systems to process in-stock items and pre-order/backorder items, and as a result we sadly are unable to combine these different types of purchases together for shipment. When an in-stock item is ordered it will begin processing immediately for shipment, and unfortunately cannot be held or combined in shipping with any pre-order shipment that might be processing in the future. You can find complete information on how different types of purchases are shipped out at the following location in our help pages: https://www.tfaw.com/Help/Mixed-Orders

        1. Hmmm that stinks. I will say they I order a ton from them. I had a problem with Mile high this week where I ordered a variant, and threw in some other books because it was free shipping with a $60 purchase so I would either buy the books or the shipping. Turn around and I get an email saying the variant I ordered was out of stock and they would ship the other books ($10 worth of books and $10 shipping) I responded to cancel the order. They charged me. I called PayPal to dispute. PayPal said the would be happy to dispute it. So they did a charge back on them. Then Mile High hit me up and said “hey we have a copy for you, the email was in error.” I said I would take it under the conditions that it was NM as ordered and that they combine the shipping down to where it was free again and I didn’t get charged for the free shipping. They emailed back saying they couldn’t guarantee the nm copy that I ordered was in NM condition so they would go ahead and refund me. I had to laugh. They tried to send me out a damaged copy at full price.

    1. I know what you mean. They just got me with this last week. I ordered a few $1 in-stock copies of Action Comics 1001 and then the rest were pre-orders. This was a day before Wednesday. They just so happened to ship my order for AC 1001 an hour before they decided to ship out some of my pre-orders..so yep, two $4 shipping charges an hour apart. Even contacting customer service they said they process the two types of orders differently. I’ll have to use the tip Anthony provided

      1. It works for me. They, as many, online shops can be a pain to deal with over shipping. Fighting with Mike High Comics myself right now. Won’t order from them again.

        1. I stopped ordering from them a long time ago. They had five copies of the Hans Variant for Iron Heart #1 in stock the other day. I ordered 2. For my invoice Saturday and they said they were sold out and to confirm the rest of the order. I said no cancel it. The other issues were just padding. They wanted $10 shipping. So i contacted and said cancel. The charged me anyway. Instantly disputed with my credit card company.

  3. I’ve got this feeling that The One Below All is in one of the next two issues of Hulk.
And there’s ZERO hype for it. Likely to be a big book.

    1. Series has been slowly heating up for sure. Check out Immortal Hulk #2 as it heated up to around a $25 book under the radar. It’s simmered down some but it’s another Immortal Hulk spec people should be on the lookout for when digging back issues. First appearance of Dr. Frye.

      1. I don’t know if you’ll find them now…i searches quite a few places and was able to find one for $12. All the other issues you should be able to find, but even those are starting to disappear.

      2. As Anthony has said before, Black Panther #2 (2018) is slowly heating up too. Its a $10-$12 book + shipping. 1st Killmonger Symbiote.

          1. I picked up 6 copies yesterday. Listed 2 to cover my initial investment. Im gonna sit on my other copies as I feel it has not peaked yet, too.

            1. There’s been some great In-Hyuk Lee variants for Black Panther as well. Some regular and ratio’d variants.

      3. Interesting…One of mine is listed for $13 since last Wednesday and little excitement (7 view so far). I know where here are 2 more copies I was going to grab this week if I could start moving them…

  4. Picked up several (3 copies) IH on Black Friday 50% on back issues. I have also with it being stated here of a huge thing coming up in IH by Jims Comics on Youtube check Him out.
