  1. So because it’s got a tiny line with his name and years of birth and death it’s a tribute? Pretty weak tribute to the man who created most of it. I thought maybe it’d of been Stan in the reflection but it’s Thor.

    1. There is more than just the Stan ‘banner’ at the top of the cover as a tribute to Stan, but you would need to flip the book over, and open up the book up to veiw it. I think it would be in very poor taste to incorporate Stans image into the cover art of these books. The black banner is nicely done, and a somewhat eloquent tribute to ‘The Man’. IMO

    2. I like the “limited trade dress”…similar to what DC is doing with their B covers. I wonder if they’re testing the waters for a similar approach in the future. Don’t want this Limited dress to be the “A” cover in the future as I’m sure it’s not for everyone….especially traditionalists.

      1. I do not like the semi virgin covers that DC does, and I certainly hope Marvel doesn’t follow suit. But Im pretty sure they are. ☹️

      2. Is “semi-virgin” the right team? I’ve been referring to them as limited trade dress…not sure something can be semi-virgin….it’s like you can’t half expect something….and there’s no such thing as big/small coincidences…it either is one or is not a coincidence.

You can’t over die, you can’t over dry…

  2. Every week I expect that Batman Damned to vanish from this list. And every week it remains at #1. I am quite surprised this hasn’t dropped to like $20 and to its credit; it hasn’t.
