Final Order Cut-Off Highlights for 1/14/19

Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 1/14/19’s FOC list.

Batman #64 Last Cold Case Sean Gordon Murphy Variant – Batman and the Flash team up, Gordon Murphy goes us the sideways cover treatment on this awesome dark Dark Knight cover.

Harley Quinn #58 Derrick Chew Variant – Great looking sideways cover. I like it. Crazy busy with bright colors.

Female Furies #1 Mattina Variant – Before this week, this cover would be a lock, but with the events of this week…. Marvel cut Mattina previously, wonder if DC cares enough to do the same.

Age of X-Man Marvelous X-men #1 Hugo Variant – Just a great looking rendition of Storm. Always liked her Mohawk punk phase. There is also a secret variant for the book.

Daredevil #1 – Julian Totino Tedesco provides the regular cover. New Daredevil series, but who will be behind the mask. Dell Otto provides a 1:10 Variant

Immortal Hulk #13 – Great series, The One Below All is in control…. If you re not reading this series you should be!

True Believers Captain Marvel: Ms. Marvel #1 – Man, I wish this was one of the facsimile editions. But still great cheap buy right before the movie.

X-23 #9 Lumachino Skrulls Variant – I am staying away from Marvel’s theme of the month variants, but this one, X-23 and Luppachino… Of course there is the Regular Cover as well.

Vindictation #1 – Controversial and timely series

Cemetery Beach #6 Impact Variant – I have been digging these homage covers. This one is in honor of Sin City.

Oberon #1 – Betrayed by his people and exiled to Earth, Lord Oberon, the former king of the fairies, seeks out an innocent prophesied child in order to manipulate her into becoming his ultimate weapon so that he can reclaim his rightful throne. From writer Ryan Parrot and artist Milos Slavkovic, Oberon is a new supernatural adventure proving once and for all that fairies should never be trusted.

  1. 4 different figures on the Mattina Female Furies cover? Good odds at least 1 of those figures have been swiped, don’t like those odds!
