A SURPRISE CLAYTON CRAIN COVER ART UPDATE FOR SPAWN #301 UNVEILED
PORTLAND, Ore. 09/13/2019 — On the heels of Image Comics’s reveal this morning of Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo covers, Image Comics is pleased to unveil a surprise cover artwork update to the previously revealed Clayton Crain SPAWN #301 cover. Seen above, this electric new artwork will be available to retailers under the same Diamond Code (JUL190088), instead of the previously seen Crain artwork, and the final order cutoff deadline is this Monday, September 16.

So wait… even though the “parody” cover was advertised as the A cover and everyone already pre-ordered it, is THIS the A cover now, and the previous art is relegated to cover H? what a rip!
Since the first press release for #301 that we posted here and they revealed 4 covers…. The parody has been listed as Cover H.

Parody cover has always been cover H. Cover A was listed as McFarlane. Nothing has changed other then they released the art for cover A finally
That’s what I thought as well. Might just be confusion from some of the prior issues that had the parody as Cover A.
