Comic Picks of the Week for Delivery 10/23/19

Each week hundreds of new comics hit the stands, each with potential. Some live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are our Picks of the Week for delivery 10/23/19:

Reprints of the Week
Dollar Comics Swamp Thing #1 – Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson classic reprint of Swamp Thing #1 for $1. Must grab.

Incredible Hulk #1 Facsimile Edition – More expensive than the Swamp Thing above, but still a chance to grab the first issue of Hulk completely reprinted for cheap.

For the Cover

Amazing Mary Jane #1 Artgerm Cover – I am a big fan of Artgerm and cannot pass up his covers.

Future Fight Firsts Luna Snow #1 – The Regular Inhyuk Lee Cover is just awesome.

Small Press One to Watch
Money Shot #1 – New adult themed Vault book by Tim Seeley.

One to Watch
Immortal Hulk #25 – Marvel is claiming you have never read a Hulk or Marvel Comic like this before. It is trippy. We meet the Breaker of Worlds… a Galactus type… oh just wait for the spoilers.

Halloween Pick
Count Crowley Reluctant Midnight Monster Hunter #1 – Looking forward to this horror themed book from Dark Horse. Aspiring reporter Jerri Bartman is furious when she’s demoted to hosting the nightly Creature Feature at her small-town TV station. But Jerri quickly learns that there is more to horror hosting than just introducing bad B-movies. Her first night in the costume of her missing predecessor, Count Crowley, finds her face to face with a living, breathing . . . werewolf. Or was she just that drunk?

Small Press Picks of the Week
Beyond The Demon The Sea One Shot – Source Point books have gotten hot and are hard to find.

Rejected Dead Girl One Shot – Same as above. The last one shot that came out did well. May be worth grabbing the second issue.

Pick of the Week
Batman Beyond #37 – New Batwoman Beyond cover. Worth a grab. Need to see how this does in the long run but a potential grower.

  1. Don’t forget Mary Jane secret variant cover?. Instead of standard dress, it’s
In cursive. Looks to be a 1 in 5 or 1 In 7.
