The Mandalorian Tied to Clone Wars, Will We See Sabine Wren?

I am not the site’s Star Wars guy, that is DrunkWookie, however, I am going to take a stab at this one, Disney+’s The Mandalorian is pretty hot. The introduction of “The Child” aka baby Yoda took people by storm, but it was the introduction of the Darksaber at the end of season 1 that really starts the connection between the streaming show and the cartoon Star Wars Clone Wars.

The Darksaber first appears in Darth Maul Son of Dathomir #1. When they brought Maul over to Clone Wars, the Darksaber came to the show with him.    So the Darksaber is our first connection between the two series. With the announcement that Ahsoka Tano was coming to Season 2, it drove the prices of Star Wars Clone Wars #1 to rise, especially the variant. She will be player by Rosario Dawson. Ahsoka is also a key player in, you guessed it, Star Wars Clone Wars.

So with the connections between the two series firmly established, could it be a matter of time before we see Star Wars Clone Wars resident Mandalorian, Sabine Wren, appear on the Disney+ Mandalorian TV show?

Star Wars News Site Dork Side of the Force had reported that Sabine’s distinct helmet has appeared on the set of The Mandalorian. The article was from a year ago, but there is still a potential for her to appear. Sabine once had the Darksaber, before giving it away.

Sabine first appeared in the Star Wars Insider #149 magazine before cameoing in Kanan #1 and getting a full first appearance in Kanan #6
