The Story…
FRED is a mall cop, but after a near death experience, he’s going undercover as the manager of an all-you-can-eat buffet. With the help of his coworkers and a supercomputer/microwave called M.I.T.T. (MALL INDUSTRIES TWO THOUSAND), Fred takes on gangs and corporate thugs, in an episodic series of adventures!

This story is completely different from anything I’ve worked on before— the art style, the tone, everything. Initially, it started with a conversation about moms in the 80’s and 90’s who went power walking in their nylon jumpsuits. I thought it would be funny to make a story about them being in a gang. Well, that’s how it started and now it’s turned into this. I honestly didn’t know how Scout would react when I submitted it, but I was thrilled to hear that they were interested in the project. I’m very excited to be working with them again!
