  1. Considering all the sweet properties, not really to impressed….not to many pre sales you would think being the theoretical SDCC exclusives stuff…like if SDCC was happening this would be week shizzle!

  2. “Old” definition of Exclusive: Must be a ticketholder and in attendance at the comic convention to be able to purchase the item (as a flipper, this is significant)

“New” definition of Exclusive: You can pre-order it online. (includes Pre-Covid situation).

    1. Absolutely. But in this case, con isn’t happening, companies have invested tons into the exclusives, do you just let them sit there? The big problem with many exclusives is they just really aren’t exclusives. Many are store variants but not really con exclusives like they used to have.

      1. Yup… I know how sales pitches go. There’s an excitement, drive, and craziness around SDCC/NYCC exclusives historically.
So as part of the sales pitch, let’s keep the word “Exclusive” to maintain/generate the excitement/chaos/drive.
Those of us who do the convention circuit hopefully realize this and don’t get trapped into thinking these are “Exclusives” in the traditional sense that can be flipped for multiple times purchase price. Odds are the won’t be being that they can be pre-ordered by anyone…. ticket, no ticket, virtual, no virtual, con; no con

        1. That’s the way it is with anything exclusive of non-exclusive. I will say i do well selling exclusives from cons. Pays for NYCC multiple times over.

          1. Amen to that…. many many times over. No speculation. Rarely a loss. 99% a win or big win. I’ll take those percentages every day

  3. How do you guys do it to sell and not keep for your personal collection? It’s one of the problems I have lol
