As promised, the Covrprice.com runners-up list. Think of this as the second half of the top 20.

#11 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL #16 (MARVEL, 1982) As seen in the WANDAVISION trailer, Monica Rambeau’s quick appearance lit a fire under her first appearance in this Annual. It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 119% and had a high sale of $249.99 for a CGC 9.6.

#12 BATMAN SHADOW OF THE BAT #1 (DC, 1992) This first appearance of Victor Zsasz is trending this week due to recent casting of actor Alex Morf playing Zsasz on the second season of BATWOMAN. Keep in mind that this book has trended in the past with the various versions of Zsasz in content. It sold 26 copies, had a 7-day trend of 124% and had a high sale of $79.99 for a CGC 9.9.

#13 WOLVERINE #1 (MARVEL, 1988) This 1st Wolverine solo series is picking up as anticipation continues to build for an MCU appearance. While we have plenty of time, it still sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 140% and had a high sale of $259.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#14 UNCANNY X-MEN #282 (MARVEL, 1991) This first appearance of BISHOP is trending due to a VERY weak connection to the MCU’s time traveling focus. Regardless, it still sold 11 copies, had a 7-day trend of 149% and had a high sale of $32 for a raw copy.

#15 CONAN THE BARBARIAN #1 (MARVEL, 1970) Per Deadline, “Netflix has put in development an epic live-action series based on Conan, the iconic sword-and-sorcery character created by writer Robert E. Howard”. Due to this, Conan’s first appearance and origin sold 13 copies, had a 7-day trend of 119% and had a high sale of $585 for a CGC 8.0.

#16 VENOM #25 STEGMAN WALMART VARIANT (SEALED SET) (MARVEL, 2020) Collectors are loving these Walmart sets. While you might not retire on these, it’s just a nice win to find something in the wild that is worth more than what it cost. With this, buyers are still picking these up. They sold 22 copies, had a 7-day trend of 69% and had a high sale of $25 for a sealed set.

#17 STAR WARS #1 (MARVEL, 1977) Needless to say, everything STAR WARS related is hot right. The MANDALORIAN changed the game for Star Wars speculation and investing. Due to this, collectors are putting more money into this first issue. It sold 16 copies, had a 7-day trend of 93% and had a high sale of $248.05 for a CGC 9.2.

#18 NEW MUTANTS #98 (MARVEL, 1991) There were rumors last week that there are possible talks with Marvel and Ryan Reynolds to set-up one of the biggest MCU deals ever, with Deadpool potentially popping up across multiple films. Keep in mind that this is all speculation. Still, this news sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 101% and had a high sale of $1,050 for a CGC 9.8.

#19 BATMAN THREE JOKERS #1 FABOK 1:25 VARIANT (DC, 2020) If you glance at our MOVERS list, you’ll notice that it’s almost completely dominated by THREE JOKERS and all the various covers. While they’re not doing anything notable price-wise, they sure are selling a lot of copies. This variant sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 100% and had a high sale of $99.95 for a CGC 9.8.

#20 THE BLUE BEETLE #3 (DC, 2006) This issue is the first appearance of the updated/current PEACEMAKER. There’s speculation the HBO series will bounce around all the various iterations of the character through time. This helped move 16 copies with a 7-day trend of 92% and a high sale of $29.99 for a NM raw copy.

  1. Another 3/10. Shadow of the Bat (I think I have three copies), x-men 282 and venom 25…nothing too exciting.

  2. Anyone here have problems with things from another world with damaged comics. It seems to happen to me all the time. They always make good but most times they are out of the books and I just get a refund.

    1. The trick is 5 books shipping at a time or more and/or a book that costs more than $7 automatically get boxed. I found if they are using photo mailers it is better not to have the comics bagged and boarded.
