As expected, we have been saying this book was going to be good, ONI Press new release by (comicsheatingup.net favorite) Charles Soule Letter 44 has sold out.
The one dollar comic Letter 44 #1 sold through its entire print run at the distributor level. This does not mean you cannot find them on your store’s shelves, it means the first print cannot be reordered from Diamond and will be going back for a second printing. The print run for the book was 22,000 copies, which is large for an ONI Press book, but small compared to a lot of Image Comics.
As a side note, I have been selling the hell out of the Phantom Variant. The book has a nice base at $7.99 currently.
Yeah, I picked up two of your variants. 😉
I got my eye on a Black & White variant. I managed to pick up 4 regular cover copies as well.
Thanks Drew it is a good book. I ended going through my initial batch and had gone back for more. I am dropping your books off at the post tomorrow and going back for a third batch.
I’m assuming the 22k print run is across all variants? If so, do you know the break down for each variant? I’m curious to know how many of the black and white and ghost variants there are.
I read the 2nd print is scheduled for November 27th and will be done by Javier Pulido who’s done work on Daredevil and Hawkeye. #2 is scheduled for the same day.
Not sure if it’s accurate or not but I also read that the SDCC Black and White variant was limited to 500 copies.
500 would be a nice number. I picked up 10 of the SDCC variant
