Alright, so NYCC is around the corner and we’ve been entertaining the idea of doing a get together for any CHU readers who are going to NYCC this year.

House of X #5 is in stores tomorrow. It is a big issue because we get a lot of the background info on a lot of what has been going on, including the pods and the pod people. Jonathan Hickman does a great job this issue making an obscure character relevant. You will see, check below.

Absolute Carnage #3 is in stores tomorrow. It continues the mega Venom Carnage crossover taking over pretty much all Spider-related comics. It is a great issue with a few twists. Check it out below.

Welcome once again to my spec and my drek. I pick what I think will be winners, not only if you make money by flipping but winners as in either a great read or just awesome art.
Then there’s the pesky drek, the comic you should avoid altogether or not fall into the buying every variant trap.
This week I chose 14 books, 4 of them have high opening interest and interesting presales, but so far all of them have low degrees of liquidity. 6 are by known home-run hitting cover artist. 4 are character storyline driven 6 are indies; Some of them…Well I just like the cover.
