  1. I lucked out and got a copy of Batman Adventures #12 (along with Harley Quinn #1) in a random lot of comics on eBay for $20. It’s not as valuable as the ones listed above, though, because it’s in lower grade.
Is anyone here knowledgable about grading, because I have a question about its grade? Overall, I would say that its VF, except the barcode is marked through with a marker. How does that affect the grade, and how much lower would a VF book be graded because of it? (Pic linked to below).
It’s not a big deal because I’m keeping it for my Batman collection (selling the Harley Quinn #1 when the new #0 comes out), but I’m still really curious.

  2. I actually have been to the lyria exchange on many occasions. They are an up to the minute source on whats hot on Ebay. Great source!

  3. NakedOni, a pen mark of any kind does do a lot to diminish the value on a book. Even so, I took a look at the comic, it should be at a Fine+, Very Fine- despite the mark because the overal condition is pretty good. Either way, with the crazy demand for Harley Quinn’s first, you should be able to make a great return on the comic!
