Welcome to Zip, who will be scouring Previews each month looking for gems for us each month. So without further ado Zip’s Preview highlights.
Every month previews comes out and showcases the pretties that we will be putting our money on in the coming months. My goal is to spotlight some that are worth putting on pull folders in advance or ordering in advance online. If nothing else…Some to keep an eye on.
1. Death of Wolverine-Alex Ross Variant. (Marvel)
This 4 shot is going to have a very high print run. The Alex Ross is a 1:75 variant.
The Alex Ross variant is available at the moment for around 45.00. Its worth keeping an eye on.
IT’S THE BEGINNING OF THE END – 3 MONTHS TO DIE ENDS HERE!
• The beginning of the end is now here … THE DEATH OF WOLVERINE!
• THREE MONTHS TO DIE, the loss of Wolverine’s healing factor–all led to this, the single most important X-Men event of the decade.
• Logan has spent over a century being the best there is at what he does…but even the best fade away eventually.
I think Disney wants Logan back. So he must die.
2.Roche Limit(Image)
Image-Sci fi-aliens-Eccentric billionaire. Also the other image #1’s look Ehhh this month in my opinion. Describes as “2001: A Space Odyssey meets Blade Runner”, Roche Limit is the first part of a bold sci-fi/noir trilogy.
It looks like it has potential.
3. Sabrina (Archie Comics)
I have high hopes for this one. Sacasa is writing this awesome looking comic. Its going to take place during the 1960s. Loving Sacasa’s work so far in Afterlife with Archie. Artwork looks gorgeous on this, take my money.
4. Afterlife with Archie #7 Pepoy Variant(Archie comics)
Part 1 of 6 For Betty RIP. The cover is gorgeous. Also the cover is gorgeous. Die Betty!
The “What the F*%# Factor”
Beast Commandos (Amigo Comics)
That’s right. This is some serious 1990’s Saturday morning cartoon throwback stuff.
If you think that White Sharks are bad, prepare yourself to meet DarkShark! A commando in a solo mission – hunting down Don Walrus the Narco, an evil drug lord and gun-addict – with a water gun, guy is in rehab. But Walrus controls the Duckong and brutal mercenaries! Did you miss all the gun-toting grim-and-gritty nonsense from the 90’s? This is your book! Guns! Poaches! Grinned teeth! Duck shooting!
Yes. That is the plot.
Shark. Check.
Cigar. Check.
Explosions. Check.
Lets do this.
All joking aside guys..this previews was rough. Not much this month.
Honorable Mentions:
George Perez’s Sirens George Perez good girl art!
Roman Ritual (Editors Note: I am looking forward to this sick looking new horror book from El Torres and Amigo Comics- Anthony)
Wild’s End Watership Down meets War of the Worlds.
Brainstorm Small Press, Giant robots
That’s it for me guys.
Until next time…This is Zip, signing off.

Yeah I heard about it. Afterlife with archie No. 666. Loved the cover. Ebay is asking 18-28 at the moment. 5 bucks at the convention. Wish I knew someone who was going lol
I just picked up the Preview of Brainstorm randomly. There is a pre-release teaser for it to drive up interest.
