  1. This variant is one of the few others I really dig. I like the covers with her in full costume, not the mask off posing for the cover type cover.. maybe it’s just me, Spider-Gwen is much cooler in full uniform acting like a spider on the cover.

  2. Thanks for the update Elvi, the Yesteryear is my favorite cover out of all the ones released so far.

    1. Nice! πŸ˜€ Only getting one copy since I’m low on funds. Did the math on the guy who sold a bunch for 39 bucks, he’ll be making about 700 in profit. Good speculation on his part, probably had inside info or had prepaid for em to make a pre-sale post like that.

    2. I ended up getting 2 copies – one to keep, one to sell later down the road. I know what you mean about being low on funds. I’ve pre-ordered at least 1 copy of every variant for #1 right now and it HURTS. My LCS still hasn’t gotten back to me on what the Hughes variant is going to set me back.

    3. Same here man, I got at least 1 of every single cover which kinda screwed me over. Well with the exception of Hughes 1:100 cover but at this point I won’t go for it due to finances and because I found the cover to just be kind of meh. Should be able to flip the multiples I have like crazy though and get it moolah back plus some on top.

      1. I’m with you on that Adam Hughes cover.. meh is the best word to describe it. I think he’s an exceptional artist though but that cover belongs on an Archie comic or something.

      2. I thought I was in on the Hughes cover but my LCS is holding the copy I asked for 3 months ago for someone else! But they also want $300 for it. I’d rather spend that on a key Silver Age book. I’ll pass! lol

        1. That happened with me on the Anka variant today, I asked for it as soon as it was revealed on the internet. Like literally within 10 minutes of its reveal but they are holding it for someone else. They priced it at 35 so I don’t mind. I had 2 from tfaw for 20 a pop πŸ˜€

  3. No one will be attending the event, correct? I would really like to get this variant graded by CBCS for their signature series, but would rather not spend double by ordering through eBay then sending it in after the fact for their signature verification service.
I know this is a duplicate type message from the earlier post, just covering my bases.
