Comics Picks of the Week for delivery 2/25/15

Welcome to the special Spider-Gwen Eve report.
Each week hundreds of new comics hit the shelves, each with potential. Some of them live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best chance of heating up.

The Big One
Spider-Gwen #1 Nothing I need to say about this one. Get multiple copies. This one will sell out.
The One That is Supposed to Break the Internet in Half
Fantastic Four #643– Big things are supposed to happen here. Remember when Sleep Walker quickly became hot. I expect it to happen again. The beginning of Secret Wars is happening here. Going to be over looked in the Spider-Gwen frenzy
The Oddly Oversized One
Criminal Savage Edition, Magazine Sized– remember a few months back the frenzy the Magazine sized comic Fade Out caused when it was released. I think this one has a better shot. People are big fans of Criminal and Brubaker in general. This one is a sleeper.
The Odd DC one on the list
Batman #39– The penultimate chapter in Snyder’s return of the Joker story line. Cant wait, don’t miss. Already selling out online.
The other Odd DC book on the list
Secret Origins #10 Following up on last weeks Batgirl, it is the return of Oracle, the pre-New 52 one. And it happens here. Expect a sell out, expect the book to be short ordered. People usually apss over these origins type books. Already starting to sell out online.
The Pick of the Week
Curb Stomp #1– Rat Queens meets warriors. Boom has had some great books coming out recently and this looks like one of them. Already selling out online.

      1. The $4.99 price point makes this one tough to swallow. But I may be picking up extra copies for a quick flip.

    1. Yeah, I’m hoping to get the Suiciders variant at cost but due to delays, they might not have them out until tomorrow.
