February was an interesting month for print runs. A book that no one would have expected took first place due to LootCrate. The top 7 books were all over 100,000. Top three were over 250,000 copies. Comics sales were up over Feb. last year, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and 15 years ago.
Here are the top 10 sellers
1 Orphan Black 1 497,002
2 Darth Vader 1 264,399

They’re Not Like Us is a really good comic and still cheap.
Yup, it could have potential like Nowhere Men did..
Oh, They’re Not Like Us 6k print run for #1 is the 2nd printing. In the same list it lists #3 and #2 is listed in the January sales. The 1st print from December is listed at 18,015, which is still pretty low for a new Image series. Most usually debut in the 20k range for the most part.
18K makes a lot more sense. I was shocked at only 6K. I didn’t care for it and stopped buying it after the 2nd issue. I’ve been tempted to pick up the 3rd issue and give it one more try but have resisted the urge so far.
Yeah, I don’t see it as a comic for a lot.. I did the same thing with Nowhere Men.. after the 2nd issue I was like.. meh… and then everyone was talking about how good it was, gave it another shot then enjoyed it.. then it abruptly ended without a real ending… sigh!
I keep hearing how good it is which makes me want to try it a little longer. I didn’t like the way they were going with it. There was no one to cheer for, just a bunch of kids causing trouble. Maybe it’s been fleshed out since issue 2 but at the time it was easy to drop.
Thanks for that. Was a little weary when I wrote that last night.

No worries! I would of thought the same, I just happened to look at the list and saw #3 listed as well..
Silk looks way small compare to that Spider-Gwen number.. 🙂
Didn’t we discuss that before? I think we mentioned a long while back that Silk would be overlooked and gain more in value in the long run. I know I’m still rooting for Cindy Moon more!
Yup, Silk print numbers seem about right, I was thinking spider Gwen would be about 150-175k… not 250k range.
Yeah. That number is HUGE. Glad I kept a bunch of ASM 4s and 3 1:10 variants
I expected Silk to be a little bit lower to be honest but that’s still a good number. Glad I stocked up on that book. Postal seems a bit low. That surprised me.
Well, I read once where Diamond had 2600 or so accounts in 2013. So for giggles, let’s just say the amount is 2500. That means the average bought per account was just around 30. I thought it was gonna be around 100k myself. 🙂
YUP CASHING IN ON SILK!
