Lucky enough to get Adam Hughes Convergence cover,Uncanny Inhumans 0 1:100 ..and bad Impluse buying and over paying for Futures end 1:50 and Harley Quinn Right Cover..hoprfully they pick up steam ..interesting however RAVENOUS was extremely hard to find..rumor has it that they were not distributed well on the east coast only …hope to shed some light on this
Neither of the two stores I visited had Ravenous.
I did manage to snag Convergence #0 Patrick Zircher at cover price. Also picked up UFOlogy Virgin Variant at cover. Could of picked up the 10 Years Boom! variant for it but the two they had were in pretty bad shape. Got the Cluster #3 virgin at cover as well. Garfield #36 virgin cover as well.. just an awesome looking cover I thought.
I was also able to snag Uncanny Inhumans Mike Perkins and Jim Cheung variants at cover as well.
Not a bad day picking up variants at cover price.

– I was able to get an extra copy of Lady Killer 1 (1st print) recently for cover price because another patron at my LCS decided he didn’t want the one that had been put in his box (I guess he has a standing order with my shop to have all new Number 1’s put in his box, and then he gives back the ones he doesn’t want. Apparently he hadn’t been to the store in a while and had a ton of books to sort through.) He must have been living under a rock or something!
Remember, there are people who are just readers out there and not collectors. My usual shop says some people will go 4-5 weeks without picking up their weekly pulls. Said they try to start calling around week 6, no answer by then, they throw them back out into the wild unless someone else put their name down that didn’t get one.

I bought all of them.. I plan to burn them all except the one copy that will be a 10.0 grade so it’s worth billions.. muahahahahahaaha!

ok some news on Ravenous ..spoke with the fine folks at Creature Ent..they were not aware of any east cost west cost allocation .They said the print run was 2000 for regular and 500 for variant and was sold out thru diamond ..this book is defiantly one to watch
No Ravenous at my LCS. No Kanan variant either. Had a Hughes convergence variant, but wanted $100 for it.

Also for some reason I sought out every Marvel Transformers Mini-Series. I got all nostalgic one day and just hunted them all out. These are for the personal collection. I’ve realized I NEVER sell ANYTHING I have related to Transformers. Not just comics either.

Holy crap. 11 is the best Nailbiter so far IMHO and 11 looks to be the start of some seriously dark action. If you love horror, time to board this crazy train! Williamson is killing it w this, Ghosted and Birthright right now.
Nailbiter is one of my faves. This is a great looking cover to the start of a new arc as well.
I stopped at issue 5 o nailbitter. First 3 issues where good then it dragged the story and droppet it. Good to hear that its getting better maybe I’ll grab a copy

Looks like all the Joke variant covers are available for pre-order now. As a collector, I plan on picking up most of them. But as seller, which ones do you think will have the most heat when they come out? Any one in particular you think will catch fire more than the others? And does anyone have an idea what print runs are for these? Is the market flooded with them?
I personally like Batgirl #41 (if it can even be found) , Justice League #41, Batman #41, Wonder Woman #41, and Batman/Superman #21. These are only choices from the covers i’ve seen. There a bunch more that haven’t been revealed yet.
Anyone get Superman/Wonder Woman # 17 Combo Pack variant ? This seems to be a very low print. My LCS had none.

Yeah I was able to pick up only 1 copy. Midtown, which usually has issues in abundance only had 1 polybagged combo version and I grabbed it. I heard this one is one of the least printed combo issues. Especially with them coming to an end soon. Get ’em if you find ’em!

First of all I dropped Goners. It really took a turn south for me. I still loved the art but the story was losing me.

Dying and the Dead #2 A solid first issues and i’m hoping this continues the momentum.
No Mercy#1 After reading the preview for this one I had assumed it would be a monster type book. After reading an interview that this would all be real world based I added this to my pull. I’ve heard that it will be brutal and shocking at times so we’ll see.
Had to work through lunch today so didn’t make it to the stores in time to see any of today’s choice variants at reasonable prices…

My big regret for the day… I bought the Convergence #0 Hughes variant and probably paid too much. Not sure why I did it!

How much did you end up paying? I was surprised I grabbed the Zircher variant at cover. There was only 2 available, everyone seemed to be passing them over hunting for other variants. I’m not even a DC guy.. grabbed it cause it’s a $25-$30 variant at most retailers for cover price.
