Wednesday, the best day of the week. New Comic Book day. It is like your birthday in the middle of each week. We open it up each week to hear what you are spec-ing on.
Let us know what your pick ups are (always makes me feel better that I am not the only person who buys a ton of books ((Looking at you Poyo)). What books did you drop. What books were there stacks of on the shelves and which ones disappeared.

  1. ruff specing week I forsee…probably just gona dig for deadpool back issues and psylocke first appearances maybe some back issue deals…..want to see the art in runlovekill new Image book, Archie vs predator maybe flip a variant that gamestop one is dope!

    1. I think the trick to pops is getting the odd ones. Futurama is cool so they throw the main characters in which everyone will get and then a cool odd one like Devil Robot which is still one of my favorite episodes. Robot hell.

    2. Descender 2 has a preview for RunLoveKill (and Kaptara). The art seemed very Aeon Flux-y to me…

      1. I’ve been about the same last few weeks.. last week was smaller though and this week will likely be smaller, unless I land some variants at cover.. but even then, not many variants catching my eye this week either.

      1. I have been listing like crazy. Been selling the hell out of the Phantom Deadpool variants from last week. Made my month off them. Have about 50 auctions going on eBay at the moment.

  3. I just had to comment on the new Terminator trailer. THIS MOVIE LOOKS TERRIBLE. OMG. I was embarrassed for the director when I was watching it.

    1. The extra pickups:
      Got two Tithe #1 1:10 variants.. I think they’re 1:10.
      Convergence #2 Lee variant.
      Would of gotten one of the rarer Bloodshot Reborn variants but it was all beat up, had a folder corner and 2 big crease marks, even at cover wasn’t going to bother with it.
      Really wanted the Archie Predator Francavilla variant but one shop didn’t get it and the other had it at $25. Although it’s hot, I’m thinking in a few weeks, it’s gonna die down and be half that price.

    2. Oh, also picked up some more Walking Dead #132… I’m gambling that Alpha makes it to the show one day and plays a big role in the comic/show.

    Will also look for the AH Betty/Veronica variant but I’m still a bit iffy on that one.
    My typical week is around $30-40. Still new to speculating and taking it easy. Have hit some good home runs but also have a nice stack of misses already as well. Extremely fun but maddening all at once! šŸ™‚

    1. I’m with you on that, but learning slowly what tends to work. Looks like we’re spending about the same, but man I get addicted to getting good looking covers too! lol

      2. First series.. I’ve also been following number of listing for those books and supply seems to be falling… Can’t say why… Most people specing/holding I guess? Can’t see why… High grade copies bring on good premiums…

      3. Also, a few recent article saying that Kane will still be cast in Deadpool movie even though Ed Skrien was cast as Ajax…

  15. Super quite week for me as well.
    New Stray Bullets which is always one of the books I look forward to the most each month.
    Fade out 6… I’ve forgotten what’s going on in this and will probably need to start from the beginning again. Remember I was enjoying it though. Also that Criminal 1shot the other week was great.
    Then a few things to spec on,
    A few Betty and Veronica Hughes covers
    A couple for Nutmeg #1 days of future past swipe. Does anyone know what the deal with these are, there are basically no listings on eBay for this or the regular cover?
    And a couple of Ms Marvel #14’s for the future, new character/ love interest, could be good for when they inevitably make a movie for this.
    That’s it. But I remain super excited for a few phantoms that a certain kind gentleman has acquired for me.
    Also has anyone heard back about their boba fett variants. I was emailed to say they had 3 put aside for me but nothing since…

    1. I’ve been snagging the 1:25 variants for Convergence as well for cover and none are biting on eBay. I think I’m just gonna get them all and then do a big lot sale.. one location here is over ordering them me thinks but then again, makes it easy to snag the variants cause there’s more of them.

  21. Is Ms Marvel #14 worth picking up? I read there was a new love interest/character introduced.
