Ms. Marvel Tv Mini-series to come?

There is a lot of talk from a lot of places that a Ms. Marvel TV mini-series is in the works at ABC. Kamala Khan could make it to the screen before Carol Danvers potentially.

IGN had a piece stating that “ABC is canceling the low-rated American Crime, but still wishes to work with creator John Ridley (an Oscar winner for his screenplay for 12 Years a Slave), hence their recent deal with him for a new Marvel-based series. The rumor says Kamala Khan caught his eye and is the character he’s moving forward with.”
They go on to say “The rumor goes on to state that the Kamala Khan show would act as the winter bridge between the fall and spring runs of Agents of SHIELD, making it a shorter run series, like Agent Carter.”
Forbes, of all places, also ran a piece. They stated: “On Friday, the future of Agent Carter came into question when it was revealed by EW John Ridley was hired by ABC to write a new, currently under-wraps Marvel project. Given the fact EW specified ABC and not ABC Studios in its report, one’s left to assume the series in question isn’t one of the two remaining Netflix shows still in need of a writer, but a new series for ABC proper.”
This is all on the heels of an Entertainment weekly story stating: “We hear the deal involves reinventing an existing Marvel superhero character or property for ABC—but all sides are staying quiet on exactly which title Ridley is adapting.”
This is all a long shot, but she has been revealed to be an Inhuman, Inhumans are integrated in SHIELD tv show, as well as, being developed into a movie. She has a tie in to the Captain Marvel movie.
