June Comic Print run

June’s numbers are in. It is always interesting to look at the number of copies that have sold. Here are the books we were talking about in June 2015:

The Top 10:
1 Secret Wars 3 218,136
2 Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows 1 203,565
3 Star Wars 6 152,652
4 Justice League of America 1 150,845
5 Batman 41 142,155
6 Thors 1 114,854
7 Darth Vader 6 107,739
8 X-Men 92 1 97,617
9 Justice League 41 88,713
10 Groot 1 83,506

The Bottom 5:
362 Bunker 11 3,240
368 Kaijumax 3 3,122
369 Captain Canuck 2 3,095
372 We Can Never Go Home 3 3,042
373 Phantom 3 3,004

Books of interest:
We Can Never Go Home 3– To me the most interesting. Used Marvel and DC costumes and caused a bit of a stink. Just above three thousand copies, I have picked up and sold a ton of these.

Death Sentence London 1 4,589- The return of Titans hit series.
Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars 1 5,148- Only one book this could be as the regular print run was over 70,000. It has to be Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #1 C2e2.

Evil Dead 2: Beyond Dead by Dawn 1 5,860- Also be on the lookout for the Certified Groovy Special Edition which will feature more pages and a Photo Cover featuring Bruce Campbell

Mad Max Fury Road Nux & Immortan Joe 1 7,207- Very low for a popular movie tie in

Harrow County 2 9,295- Low print run for a book with a media deal. Good Pick-up.

Fight Club 2 1 13,123- The fact it was under 20,000 is amazing.

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero 214 14,154- Death of Snake Eyes has been a hit.

  1. After seeing these print runs, most likely we can never go home #3 will heat up even more.

    1. All depends.. it’s still an indie comic so it’s going to have a smaller audience. Most of the readers and collectors who wanted their copy probably got theirs. If this one does heat up, it’s not going to start boiling quickly.. more like a gradual boil as more readers catch on to the series and then seek this one out.
