  1. Though the picture is indeed legit and it did come out before New Mutants # 87,is anyone buying into this being the 1st app. of Cable in Marvel Age # 82? People are going nuts and copies have dried up and sales are 15.00 and up……

  3. I’m highly intrigued in Daredevil #18 due to the Previews description.

    The final chapter in the Autobiography of Matt Murdock is written by someone who may surprise you.
    • Not everyone survives this phase in Daredevil’s life.
    • Find out who lives, who dies…and who is changed forever.

    Dying and the Dead #3: if it comes out. Even then I don’t know because 4 onward are definitely canceled. Do we have a Nonplayer situation here?

  6. We Stand On Guard, and maybe I’ll look for mighty avengers 13. My shop has it in back issues at cover price. I guess I’m just unsure of the role they will play in the marvel media-verse.

  7. Also, marvel-age is def. a first appearance for Cable and Stryfe. Look for the marvel-age with the first appearance of darkhawk too.

    I’d love to see a Cable comic where he looks young like that.

  13. only pickup this week is age of ultron v marvel zombies 4. and a story to share. its kind of a braggy tale, so feel free to skip over it. but I wanted to share and this site is the best place for it.

    so when We Can Never Go Home 1 came out, I called my comic shop and had them put a copy in my box, even though the premise didn’t look that interesting to me. prior to picking it up, I decided I had been buying too many issue 1’s just for speculation purposes, and was ending up with a lot of uninteresting and worthless books. for every Lady Killer and Divinity you get, you get a bunch of Intersect and Empty. so I decided to cut back and only get stuff I really wanted to read (and if they heated up, its a win win). Im still picking up about 10 books a week. so when I went to my LCS, I handed back my copy of WCNGH. I saw sales for the comic were hovering only around $10 bucks on ebay for a while, so I forgot all about it.

    then one day as I was reading the articles on this site (as I do daily), I saw the article about BUY, KEEP, or SELL, and I saw that WCNGH1 was selling for about $60 bucks on ebay. oof. that hurt. it was in my hands, and I let it go. I even posted my sadness in the forum section, which Anthony responded to. I immediately called my LCS and asked if they had any copies left, and of course they said no. However, they said they were super behind in restocking books people had given back, and if they found any copies, theyd put them in my box (this shop doesn’t mark up books just because they get hot. they sell you them for cover until they’re gone). and to my complete surprise, when I showed up at my shop last Wednesday, there were TWO first print, NM copies of WCNGH 1 sitting in my box. wow. what a feeling. I bought them both (and bought the only available copy of issues 3-4 as well), and put one up on ebay (and its doing great).

    So yea, just a great experience. im sure we’ve all been on both sides of that situation. and obviously big thanks to this site for proving me endless hours of entertainment (and procrastination) as well as solid spec advice.

    2. Very nice. I was in the same boat.. I passed up We Can Never Go Home as well.. I too end up with so many #1 like Empty and Intersect that just kind of don’t do it for me where I never look back, with no desire to read beyond the first issue..

      I went back and got WCNGH 2nd print and was hooked…

  17. I bought CHEW # 1 RI variant signed.

    Anyone else find these at the LCS ? Guy at the store said these were given to retailers who ordered the board game.

      1. You know, I’m surprised I didn’t see the game even at Dragon’s Lair unless it was in a totally different location. Dragon’s Lair is pretty much 60% board games. Hmmm..

              1. You can totally have my soul.. been saving it for such a day (It’s about as imaginary as our fiat monetary system we use to buy all these goodies at the comic book store each week)! I’ll even sacrifice a goat in your name while signing over my soul.

      2. Yeah. I don’ think my LCS (or most) knew what to charge for it. If only they looked on Ebay…..

      3. Yeah, please don’t tell your shops about this “eBay”… I already pay enough each week for comics at cover price. 😉

  18. Light week for this collector.

    I got 2 copies Mockingbird 1. Including the non- action figure variant. ( hopefully I can buy some Christmas gifts for my kids next year with those puppies!)

    Wanted -we stand on guard 3, however each LCS was SoLD OUT!

    I bought a shelf copy of Beauty 1 Frison cover. I am impressed with the story and like this artist
