I am a huge fan of the original Lone Wolf and Cub, as well as the reimagined alone Wolf 2100 that came out a bunch of years back. So I was very happy to hear that alone Wolf 2100 will be returning.
From screenwriter Eric Heisserer (Shaper) and artist Miguel Sepulveda (Red Lanterns, Action Comics) comes Lone Wolf 2100, a reimagining of Kazuo Koike’s classic manga Lone Wolf and Cub set in the not-too-distant future.
“It’s a genuine privilege to get to write for a title as iconic as Lone Wolf and Cub, and the 2100 setting allows me an opportunity to tell a fresh iteration of this story,” said Heisserer. “The best science fiction holds up a mirror to contemporary society and exaggerates all its flaws (but also its beauty). That’s what I aspire to do with the ideas behind Lone Wolf 2100.”
