I made a killing on the Niobe variant and plan on going in on the Straightjackets.
Do u think that now since they are going to be available in the US the prices are not going to heat up that much? Any opinions
Any book that sells out has potential to heat up – we keep the print runs small on purpose to help make these as collectable as possible.
Cool cool. Thanks for the info Terry. I am digging those straightjacket ones though. Will check out your website sometime to see what’s up thanks again.
I purchased the Niobe #1 and it’s a gorgeous cover. Another buyer who had purchased 10 copies brought to my attention that 6 of his 10 copies had printing issues in the back. I opened mine to check it out and saw that the back cover was covered with several spots or residue. I was a bit disappointed because for what I thought it was a NM now is a VF. So I hope any printing issues will be addressed. Either way, I will still purchase other variants in the future.
If it is a print issue that is known and goes across the print run it would not effect grade most likely
Cool! Thanks for the info
I never saw the copies in person myself but I do know that books that are printed with pure black back covers can easily rub against other books from the printers so its possible all books have the same issue.
