What’s up CHU, Mel V back with another great week of comics and variants. Variants do carry risk, some go up, some go down, but as long as you are buying art that you like, you can’t go wrong.
Variants Variants Variants..there has been some chatter for sometime that variants are starting to kill the market, let me know your thoughts on the current state of variants, do ya like em? hate em? are they hurting the comic industry?

Harley Quinn (Vol 2) #27 Cover C Incentive Amanda Conner Variant Cover-No big secret here 1st Full appearance of Red Tool..love him or hate him, this cover will be hot for a while

Harley Quinn (Vol 2) #27 Cover C Incentive Amanda Conner Variant Cover – Not a fan of Dr Strange but this is a great looking cover, I would put this on a shirt

International Iron Man #2 Cover C Incentive Kamome Shirahama Variant Cover– I’m starting to become a fan of Shirahama’s work, ever since Howard the Duck #4. The art work on this cover is so sleek and stunning. Definitely going to scoop this up


Old Man Logan Vol 2 #5 Cover C Incentive Greg Hildebrandt Classic Variant Cover-The Legendary Greg Hilderbrandt NUFF Said….Also be on the look out for the Old Man Logan Vol 2 #5 Cover B Variant Story Thus Far Cover

Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol 2 #7 Cover D Incentive Siya Oum Variant Cover-Siya Oum comes through once again with an amazing cover, this young lady is on the verge of becoming a major, major star..collect all her variants, I feel a Dell’Otto effect coming real soon

Killbox #1 Cover B Incentive Darick Robertson– This series is going to be great I had this on Big Gems from the small press a while back and Anthony just showcased it again..This is the cover of the week ..this book will be very sought after and could be under ordered ..if you see this Variant buy without hesitation

  1. I put in an order for killbox A&B cover ( back when Mel mentioned them) so fingers cross I get them in my pull.

  2. Collectors are picky and may prefer a rarer variant. But more money spend on variant is less spend to boost price of regular comic. Years ago, that money would be spend on buying multiple copies of regular comic when no variant existed.
