Is Young Terrorists or Godkiller Coming to the Big Screen

Speculation can be fun. Sometimes it is pretty concrete. Sometimes you have to follow the bread crumbs. This is the latter of the two. Looks like a Matt Pizzollo written comic could be adapted into a movie.
Black Mask Studios is the small press darling that really hit hard in 2014/2015. Things slowed down for a while but they are back on a more regular publishing schedule. With their punk-rock mentality and Do-It-Yourself ethics, the books put out by them were sure to get noticed.
Now, I know this is a little pre-mature in the stage, but as they say about the early bird….
It all started with a tweet from Lexi Alexander.

Lexi Alexander is a film director, Academy Award nominated at that. She is no stranger to comics as she did the film Punisher: War Zone. She has also worked on the Arrow episode “Beyond Redemption” and the Supergirl episode “Truth, Justice and the American Way”.
So what could the project she is hinting at be?
This leads to two potential comics, both written by Matt Pizzollo. Pizzollo is not only the writer of these books, but co-founder of Black Mask Studios, and a film maker in his own right. The first is Young Terrorists #1. The over sized first issue was well received, but there were a lot of store exclusives for it. Be on the look out for the regular cover, the Ben Templesmith Virgin Variant, the Secret mailing list variant, and the NYCC variant.
The second of the two potential books it could be is Godkiller. This book already recevied the animated treatment, but could a live action one be done? There were talks a while back that Pizzollo was going to flesh out the animated movie that was previously done, it was more like a motion comic than a movie. There were a bunch of variants on this one as well, but be on the look out for Godkiller #1 anyway. (Especially cheap copies.) The hard ones to get will be the early published editions before Black Mask.
