Secret Star Wars Series to be Aphra related?

We know that Marvel will give us the info on Star Wars Classified this week, but will the series be Aphra related? Here is a clue that could lead to an affirmative.
At NYCC this week, it was mentioned that Star Wars would have a Halloween Comic fest book that reprints Darth Vader #3, the first appearance of Aphra and the Death Droids. Tie that in with Star Wars Action News Facebook page which leaked an Artfx statue featuring Aphra and the Droids for Star Wars Celebration in April 2017 and it could mean that the Star Wars Classified could be an Aphra related book. Just something to think about as the prices for Darth Vader #3 are fairly reasonable.

  1. Darth Vader #3 could see ASM #4 level prices (about the same print run); and since there aren’t a lot of variants like ASM #4 the 1:25 statistically, in a slabbed 9.8 could be headed towards $300-$400. This is really big news. Buying once the actual announcement occurs is probably too late.

  2. Thanks to drunk wookiee for if it weren’t for his past articles on all things Star Wars I wouldn’t be ahead of the curve on this one.

  3. Just picked up the Darth Vader 3 1:25 plus a copy of the regular cover at my LCS for $30. Good times.

  4. That variant is definitely not as good looking as the regular cover though. Not even close.

  5. I have got a lot of these and I think I might have one or two of the variants. I was planning on getting the variant graded and maybe one of the regular covers also.

  6. Well Aphra survives DV #25 after Vader puts her out of an airlock and leaves her for dead, she’s saved by her evil droids and the wookie bounty hunter… they are clearly setting up for her own title…. DV #3 is going to go BOOM
