Mel V.'s Variant Picks of the Week for Delivery 12/28/16

What up CHU? This is the year ending Mel’s Variants, and what a year we had for variants. I’d like to hear what were some of you guys favorite variants of the year. This week is very light, even though there are some great covers out there. Let’s get into the getting into…

Savage #2 Cover E Incentive Bill Sienkiewicz Variant Cover – very Dynamic ..Savage could be hit or miss but if its a hit these early on covers could be sought after

Savage #2 Cover F Incentive Lewis Larosa Sketch – Ok Issue first sketch was very controversial because it could or could of not been shilled, that was one of the rare covers that I have yet to see one in person. Issue 2 sketch could follow the same suit, some decent sales already on ebay, I look forward to seeing what this does

Hulk Vol 4 #1 Cover I Incentive Dale Keown – The best looking of the new series incentives in my opinion

GI Joe Vol 8 #1 Cover G Incentive Paul Pope Variant Cover – keep ya eyes peeled for it, POPE variants have been on FIRE

  1. Been eyeballing the Savage #2 Sienkiewicz cover since the artwork was released. May have to hit a few stores to find it.

  2. Agree with the Dale Keown being the best looking cover. If there is a Hall of Fame for Hulk related artwork, Dale should be a unanimous 1st round pick 😉

  3. Love that Hulk cover.
Most of the Bermejo Suicide Squad covers were great, Frank Cho’s work on the Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn covers were awesome, too. Dell’Otto’s Harley cover and JL v SS were among my favs. #dellottobros
