Well here we are again, another Wednesday, new comics coming out and you want to now what is hot. Well, the best I can do is tell you what I think, feel free to agree, disagree, or poke fun in the comments. One thing I can tell you is hot is driving across the country in an RV with your family. We are going modified National Lampoon Vacation style, and while there has been no Christy Brinkley in a Ferrari, Anthony still won’t let me off of writing up my picks. So before he puts out an APB for me, here we go…
DC PICK
Dark Days the Casting #1 (DC) – While there will be a ton of copies printed, you still cannot beat a Jim Lee drawn Batman cover. Scott Snyder has had the best run on Batman in, well, forever, so him taking part of the writing chores helps sell this one.
Marvel Pick
Darth Vader #3 (Marvel) – Kirak Infil’a gets the full first appearance treatment tomorrow. His first cameo, I like Anthony hate the confusion of Marvel first appearances, but the market will decide, was in Darth Vader #2. Do you remember who was introduced in the last Darth Vader #3? Doctor Aphra. Her appearances have been doing ok
Small Press Pick
After Eden #1 (Red 5) – I like a good compelling story, this seems to have it. I might regret saying it a year from now when Shawn B. gets a hold of the list, but this small press book will have a tiny print run, and if there is enough interest… It is sold out at Midtown, which shows there may be some interest.
Indy Pick
Train 8 Zombie Express #1 (Bliss on Tap) – Another one that seems interesting to me. Bliss on Tap puts out very small print run books. This could be a hidden gem for horror and zombie fans, Anthony I am looking at you, but it is tied, indirectly, to a movie, and is worth looking at.

I think I preordered Aftet Eden from my LCS. If it’s the one with Earhart, then I did for sure. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow!
That’s a different book. After Eden is a twist on Adam and Eve.
