Matt Kindt' Mind MGMT Optioned for TV Show

Mind MGMT by Matt Kindt has been optioned for a TV show. At one point it had been optioned for a Movie deal. Ridley Scott was producing the Twentieth Century Fox movie, but that seemed to have fallen through. Here is the lowdown on the Mind MGMT Tv show:
Copies of Mind MGMT #1 and the Mind MGMT #1 Variant is being listed for close to $50.

Universal Cable Productions has optioned Mind MGMT and Flutter from Dark Horse Entertainment as part of its overall first-look deal with the company. This comes just days after Umbrella Academy was ordered by Netflix, which was previously covered under UCP’s deal with Dark Horse.
Mind MGMT, the New York Times best-selling graphic novel from Matt Kindt, will be adapted by Dan Cerone, known for his work on The Blacklist. The series follows a true crime writer who, while searching for the truth behind a mysterious airline flight, discovers a secret government agency of spies with psychic abilities. Henry Lyme, the former top agent, has gone rogue and is working to investigate and dismantle the organization.

  1. There is an 8 page preview in “3 Story: Secret Files of the Giant Man” one shot that came out a month earlier than MGMT #1. I took a look at some certified copies of #1 and there isn’t anything on it that states a first appearance. “3 Story: Secret Files of the Giant Man” one shot may be a good one to look at. On the cover it even states there is a preview for MGMT. Couldn’t find a graded one, but since it did come out a month earlier with an 8 page preview I would think that would constitute a bit more than a “cameo” and maybe a true first appearance. Can only speculate… Regardless, I missed the boat on cheap copies of #1 so I picked up a few of the preview. Still some very cheap ones out there. Found some of this info on a site that CHU has quoted from before….Not BC.

    1. Not all but 60%. Still it is news and I was able to grab cheap ones and flip them since the heat cooled off from the movie option but has started up again with the tv news.
