Sorry about the lightening on my part. The comic room I normally film mine in had a ceiling issue (water) and I had to relocate.

  1. Dang DC and their variant covers. That’s Joshua Middleton one is nice. I think I should start tracking how much I spend on DC cover Bs that I dont actually read haha.

    1. Middleton’s Aquaman variants have been spectacular during this entire rebirth run. I’ve been scooping up one every week, including what he’s been doing lately for Batgirl.

    1. Yes. Thankfully everything is ok. Insurance company sent people out yesterday morning. It was a long day. Between the lighting and how tired I was I look like a zombie in the vid

  2. You all hear about comixtribe charging extra to ensure your comics from them are “secure” or inspected properly? This is after paying for the books and shipping btw.

    1. My favorite part was the we will not accept returns for damage if you don’t upgrade the shipping. Love how they say that after the fact.

      1. I sell every day. If a book gets damaged on the way to my buyer I make it right. That’s just how you do business.

      2. They should at least accept returns though. It’s the sellers responsibility to do their job in getting the buyer the product in the same condition it leaves their hands in. With the tactic of, buy more insurance, they’re defaulting blame on the customer. I side with Cody, that’s just bad business if you tell your customers they’re SOL if they didn’t pay for more shipping and handling. How about you just secure it to begin with? Mycomicshop pulled this crap, they had their double standard BS (they literally stated guarantee no comic arrives damaged on one of their pages from their website but then claimed elsewhere on their standard shipping pages they’re not responsible if comics are damaged if you don’t buy the more expensive shipping), that’s why I don’t shop them anymore. They refused to accept my return even though their own website said they would, but it also didn’t. I really hate double standards..

    2. That’s a bunch of BS !!!!! Just because the books are blowing up on ebay they want to try to get more money out of the fans F**k those guy’s. I’m not paying any extra “saftey” charge, and if my books come damaged I’ll just cancel all of my pre-orders. I hope someone from there reads this site too. You don’t screw your fans.

  3. I just found a book I sold to a guy, that he claimed ‘never arrived’, for sale by him. Of course eBay refunded him the full amount already with no questions asked. The book was not very expensive, but boy, the whole eBay refunding a guy who’s selling the item he is being refunded for, really irks me.

    1. What the that’s ridiculous. ebay siding with the buyer almost always causes some dumb problems at times.

    2. Had a buyer (turtle man or something like that) that opened a return and sent me his crappy suicide squad 1 new 52. The kicker was he refused to pay for return shipping, I even gave him a phenomenal deal on some other books since he was buying multiple books from me and I needed money for bills…I took the return then promptly blocked him. I don’t need customers like that. Especially when he got like 300$ worth of books for 150$

      1. Yeah, eBay buyer protection enables buyers to get full refund, even for shipping and shipping returns. I hate that. Companies like Amazon can afford to pay for return shipping, us little guys not so much. eBay sides with the buyers more than the sellers. Sadly, this is likely due to the fact that there have been plenty of shady sellers out there so they ruined it for the rest of us. Remember the days when you could leave a negative for a non payer? What’s the point in having a feedback rating on buyers from sellers if all you can do is leave a positive? Just do away with buyers getting feedback, it’s pointless.

      2. I sold him several copies of CM #17 2nd print over the last few years. Always paid fast, never complained about condition and never had a problem with him

      1. I have been putting up some stuff. My guess would be to hit Graphitti Designs to see if they have foils. Just put up a story earlier that Dynamite will have foils. And stop by the Scout table for CHU Baltimore Comic Con Variants signed by James Haick
