Nova Could Come to Marvel Cinematic Universe

It has been a big night for Marvel Comic related movies. The trailer for Venom was leaked. Then the Official Trailer came out. News circulated that a Moon Knight movie could end up being done. And rumors that Nova could come to the big screen as part of an ensemble movie before getting his own solo film.
Richard Rider, AKA Nova, first appears in Nova #1 (available on eBay). Bronze age Marvel books have been heating up lately, first appearance and keys especially, this could drive Nova #1 up more.
Comicbook.com had the story:

“Nova is… if we have a big board with a bunch of characters that have more immediate potential, Nova is on that board,” Feige said in the exclusive interview. “Because of the connection to the Guardians universe, because there are more than one examples to pull from in the comics that are interesting. And you’re absolutely right, he was in the earliest drafts of the [Guardians of the Galaxy].”
However, Feige wouldn’t go any further with a timeline for the character potentially arriving in live-action. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on the way following the third and fourth Avengers movies, it is possible for Nova to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before getting a standalone film.

  1. James Gunn has said on several occasions “Nova isn’t happening,” so maybe that just pertains to GOTG movies?

  2. Could Eternals come to the movies – sure – they are on our board.
What about moon knight – sure – they are on our board
What about nova – sure – they are on our board
Any characters not on your board – nope!

      1. Reasonable price and first moon knight…. Do those two even go together anymore? That was always a book that I could never find on the cheap-ish. Moon Knight fans are pretty hard core and have always kept that book pricey.

      2. Mines probably a 4.5 years of looking for a decent price copy I got one for $120 awhile back on an accepted offer. The front cover has ink wording transfer from another book being stacked on it for probably decades, but happy with the purchase back then and more so today.

    1. I was able to pick up a clean, mid-grade Fine copy of Werewolf by Night 32 a few months ago for $200, to me that is a very reasonable price for the grade. My suggestion is to set an eBay saved search and then enable the notifications on your phone so when people list it, you can snag it before anyone else does. That’s how I got this one, I bought it literally 5 minutes after the guy posted it

  3. Iant there a story line with “Child Killer” Thanos Hunting Down his remaining children of Thanos and Nova happens to be one of them. I could see that story line working since we already have the children of Thanos the Black Order, Gamora, and Nebula.
